Europe and Spain
Europe, widely regarded as "post-Christian," represents a fertile mission field, with a population implosion, immigrant crisis, and increasing Muslim influence. We believe Europe is not lost, but is instead a center of culture and society that will once again be raised for the Glory of God.
Malaga, Fuengirola, and Mijas
We are blessed to be able to base the Leadership Academy in an amazing region–with access to the beach, the mountains, and the best that Spanish culture will have to offer! We won’t be sequestered at the school–we are members of the community and friends to our neighbors. Another interesting aspect of this region is the expatriate community of English-speaking people–which will ensure that we will never get too lost on the way to the market! This region is truly "international," and you will see that as you interact daily with Spaniards, Swedes, Germans, Brits, Dutch, North Africans, and others.

Mijas Pueblo is the name of the village where the Academy is located. It is an attractive village set in beautiful foothills near the Sierra Nevada mountains, with easy access to the Costa del Sol beaches, the Autovia, and the Malaga airport (Airport Code: AGP).
The Leadership Academy
Learning: The Academy classrooms, offices, and main living spaces will be in a large villa inside Mijas Pueblo. For learning environment, please see the Teaching Style page. Classes will run Monday through Thursday, during mornings and afternoons. Friday through Saturday will have opportunities to live out what you have learned during the week, experience the Spanish culture, and enjoy relationships and community.
Living: For the majority of the interns, you will live in dormitory-style rooms with up to 3 or other interns in the villa. Be prepared for very warm summers and cool and wet winters! Due to size constraints, some interns may be housed off-site nearby, within walking distance.

Requests for off-site separate housing will only be considered for married couples and families. Remember, part of your training includes community living, so you will be expected to share the majority of your meals with other interns and staff.
